The 100th ArtSpeak!

ArtSpeak! will be hosting its 100TH SHOW on November 14 celebrating the music of two wonderful WOMEN THEATER COMPOSERS: ZINA GOLDRICH AND MARCY HEISLER. They have written musicals, children’s musicals, and some of the most beloved songs in the musical theater repertory including Taylor the Latte Boy (famously performed by Kristin Chenoweth), Baltimore (hysterically recorded by Audra McDonald) and Alto’s Lament (a cabaret staple).

This will be a GRAND CONCERT with nothing but music!

HISTORY: ArtSpeak! was created by Shugoll Research as a program to excite students about theater and the arts in 1997! After 25 consecutive years (minus 2 years for a COVID break) , Limelight Insights by Shugoll is proud to present our 100th show! This will be an all singing GRAND CONCERT without the usual artist interviews and other ArtSpeak! regular features (there will be no autographs/photos due to COVID protocols). It is meant to be a celebration of theater, music, and the arts…plus a tribute to the over 200 artists who have performed at ArtSpeak! and the students and adults who have supported it.
